Are you Streetwise?
Hey! Welcome to the coolest place for K-5th graders! Every Sunday from 10:30am -11:45am we get together to hang out, sing and dance, play games, hear incredible stories, and do all kinds of crazy activities and fun crafts to help us better understand the virtues. Each month, we introduce a brand new virtue, such as Honesty, Responsibility, and Compassion. Then, using that virtue and the Bible as our map, we try to figure out the rules of the road to help us find the way God wants us to go. We have 3 Big Ideas that we talk about all the time here in Streetwise:
Wisdom: I need to make the wise choice
Faith: I can trust God no matter what
Friendship: I need to treat others the way I want to be treated
Streetwise breaks into small groups to create a safe and fun environment for kids of the same ages to connect and learn in a more personal way. After thirty minutes, the kids combine in our large group area for upbeat worship, stories, and group discussions/activities. After Streetwise, be sure to hang around for KidStuf, our family production!
