Direction
Most people don't need a compass for their daily lives because the paths they travel are familiar and routine; however, every true adventurer knows that a compass is essential equipment. A compass will not tell you what you will encounter, but if you use it wisely, it can keep you heading in the right direction. The same is true about the mission of UCF. Our mission will not tell us what the next five years will bring, but it will tell us if we are headed in the right direction.
UCF is a living, evolving, dynamic organism; but at the core of this changing organism is a mission that serves as UCF's true north. This mission directs the evolution and development of the UCF organism. It defines and refines all of our activity from
day-to-day operations to long-range planning. Simply put, it is who we are!

Challenging people to trust and imitate Jesus
in missional communities for the good of the world.
